Aaron Glenn updates Breece Hall injury at Jets practice

Breece Hall put the New York Jets through a huge injury scare during the team’s latest workout on Monday.

Ahead of facing the Pittsburgh Steelers in their second preseason contest of 2026 on Friday, Hall went down with a non-contact injury while running with the ball according to reports from practice including ESPN. Hall was then seen favoring his right leg.

When an injury does not involve being hit, the worst is feared. Sometimes that means it is an ACL injury or something that is season-ending magnitude.

New York head coach Aaron Glenn noted Hall still needs to get more tests done on his injury. However, it is believed to be a groin issue and nothing worse at this point.

“I don’t think it was a big deal,” he said, “but I want to make sure I get the evaluation on that.”

Hall is fresh off his first-career 1,000-yard rushing year in 2025 with the Jets. A bullet was potentially dodged by the Jets with Hall.
