The Patriots are hoping to hear some good news after wide receiver A.J. Brown left Wednesday’s season opener against the Seahawks with an ankle injury.

Brown suffered the injury during the third quarter of the Week 1 game. Seattle cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett landed on Brown’s right ankle after knocking down a Drake Maye pass.

A.J. Brown walked off the field with a limp after grabbing at his leg on this play.
