3 Cowboys starters meet in Vegas Summit to sharpen meet-at-QB skills

The offensive linemen look to Duke Manyweathee’s OL Summit. The tight ends congregate for Travis Kelce and George Kittle’s Tight End University. For the pass rushers, the crowning offseason mini conference is the Sack Summit, hosted annually by Von Miller, Cam Jordan and Maxx Crosby. This year’s event in Las Vegas is set to commence at the end of this week, from July 9 through July 11, and there are a slew of attendees, including three big names from the Dallas Cowboys.

Four-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Quinnen Williams headlines the list of Cowboys who will be in attendance. Williams was acquired in a trade with the New York Jets at the deadline last season, and is the centerpiece to Dallas’ new defense under first-time coordinator Christian Parker. He’ll be joined by recent import, edge rusher Rashan Gary, who will be playing in his first season for the Cowboys after a spring trade with the Green Bay Packers. Second-year rusher Donovan Ezeiruaku will also be in the fold.

Williams, who has 41.5 career sacks in his seven-year career, tied the lowest sack total of his career in 2025 with just 2.5. Gary checked in with 7.5 takedowns in his final season with the Packers, moving his career total up to 46.5. Ezeiruaku had just two sacks as a rookie, but played the last portion of the season with a hip injury that required offseason surgery. He ranked among the best rookies in pressures, a much more stable statistic than sacks.

Still, teams need their rushers to bring down the quarterbacks and place opposing offenses in dire down-distance situations, and learning from future Hall of Famers like Miller and Jordan, along with current peers, is a great way to spend a summer weekend.
