2027: Peter Obi attends inauguration of Makinde’s campaign office in Abuja [VIDEO]
The Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on Monday attended the inauguration of the campaign office of his Allied Peoples Movement, APM, counterpart, Seyi Makinde.
The inauguration of Makinde’s campaign office took place in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.
At the inauguration, the National Leader of the APM and Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, warned Nigerians against underrating the party and it’s candidate, Makinde, ahead of the 2027 elections.
“Whoever disregards us is at his own peril, we are here to reset Nigeria and we are bringing in one of the best human capitals that Nigeria has ever produced at the sub-national and national level, that is Makinde,” he said.
A footage from the inauguration showed Peter Obi sitting beside Bala Mohammed.
Recall that on April 25, opposition political parties gathered in Ibadan and made what appeared to be their boldest political commitment ahead of the 2027 general election: to unite behind a single presidential candidate to challenge President Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
