Arguably the strongest arm in the class
Launches passes to the boundaries with ease
Surprisingly mobile for a player nearly 250 lbs
Creativity outside the pocket is a plus
Can manipulate arm angles thanks to a baseball background
Decision-making makes coaches rip their hair out
Footwork is sloppy at best, especially when pressured
Arguably needs to drop 15-20 lbs to help mobility become elite
DJ Lagway has all the tools to be the second coming of Cam Newton, but needs to take massive leaps in accuracy and decision-making. He is the definition of a project, but in the right system where he can sit for at least two years, he could prove to be a steal. Lagway lands at QB8 and is someone NFL teams should prioritize getting in round three.
