2027: Jigawa APC inaugurates presidential, governorship campaign council

‎The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Jigawa State has inaugurated its presidential and governorship campaign council ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Governor Umar Namadi led the inauguration on Saturday at the Government House, Dutse

He expressed confidence that the composition of its membership would lead the party to victory in the forthcoming elections.

‎He said members were selected based on their experience, merit and contributions to the growth and electoral success of the APC in Jigawa State and the country.

‎”Today we have inaugurated the APC Presidential and Governorship Campaign Council, which will lead us to victory in the 2027 elections,” the governor said.

‎”Considering the calibre of people involved, God willing, the APC will emerge victorious.”

‎Governor Namadi charged members of the council to remain committed and intensify efforts in carrying out their assigned responsibilities to ensure the party’s success.

‎In his remarks, the Director-General of the campaign council, Lawan Ya’u Roni, appreciated the party leadership for entrusting him with the responsibility.

‎He assured that the council would mobilise support across all 287 wards in the state to secure victory for the APC in the 2027 general elections.

‎Earlier, the Jigawa State APC Chairman, Ahmad Muhammad Garba, expressed confidence in the ability of the campaign council to deliver victory for the party.

‎The campaign council has Governor Umar Namadi as chairman, Deputy Governor Aminu Usman as Vice Chairman I, and former governors Ali Sa’adu Birnin Kudu and Ibrahim Saminu Turaki serving as deputy chairmen.

‎It also has six vice chairmen representing the three senatorial districts, with two representatives from each zone.
