2027: Arewa will return Tinubu to Aso Rock, North-West has spoken – Kwankwaso

A member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, Musa Kwankwaso, says the Arewa will return President Bola Tinubu to Aso Rock in 2027.

Kwankwaso said the North-West will vote massively for Tinubu in the presidential election.

He spoke on the sidelines of the APC presidential campaign kick-off on Saturday in Kaduna, where thousands of supporters turned out to endorse the President, adding that the massive turnout in Kaduna shows where the North stands.

“Today, we of the North-West geopolitical zone have spoken loud and clear on who we stand for. Our choice of Tinubu remains our commitment to a better Nigeria and national cohesion. Arewa will return Tinubu to Aso Rock,” he said.

According to him, the rally has cleared doubts about the North’s position for 2027, noting that the North has sent a message to other zones that it will consolidate around Tinubu.

The APC stalwart further stated that Tinubu’s government means fair distribution of resources to all zones, stressing that the support is not transactional, but a matter of trust and commitment.

“Asiwaju is the northern candidate, and we will not promote anything outside his ambition because we are trustworthy people, and we shall deliver him come 2027,” he added.
