ARDMORE, PA — A marathon is set to begin Thursday at the 2026 U.S. Amateur.

It’s going to be a long day at Merion Golf Club, with the Round of 32 set for Thursday morning while the Round of 16 will go off in the afternoon. By day’s end, only eight players will be left standing and trying to claim the Havemeyer Trophy.
