The semi-final fixtures at the ongoing FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup have been confirmed.

Nigeria booked their place with a narrow 1-0 victory over Venezuela on Sunday.

Azeezat Oduntan’s late penalty was the decisive strike as the Akeem Busari-led team defeated Venezuela 1-0 in Sale, Morocco, on Sunday.

The Flamingos will now face Brazil for a place in the final.

Nigeria will be playing the competition’s semi-final for the second time ever. The previous time the Flamingos progressed this far, they won bronze in 2022.
