Toms River has reached championship weekend at the Little League Softball World Series in North Carolina.

Jaelyn Brown hurled a three-hit shutout with five strikeouts Friday night as Toms River notched 4–0 elimination-game victory Puerto Rico, at the World Series in Greenville, North Carolina.

That’s three straight wins for Toms River after the New Jerseyans lost their first game.

On Saturday the Toms River All-Stars take on Kentucky at 3 p.m. in the Orange Bracket final.

The winner will play for the World Series championship Sunday.
